I got this assemblage to use with DirecTV in 2002. It performed actual well. Occasionally it crashed and had to be accessible for a few abnormal to be reset. This happened alone every few months so it wasn't a big deal. Sometimes the box responded boring to the remote but it anchored itself afterwards a few hours.
