Accuscreen 800001 100-Inch HDTV Electric Screens with Infrared Remote and Inline Control
I bought this screen from TigerDirect about a month ago and it took a while for it to be delivered. It arrived three weeks later in excellent condition. It had heavy cardboard edge protectors on the edge of the box and it even had a photo on one side of the box showing what the condition of the box was like when it left TigerDirect's shipping facility - now that's what I call putting in extra care! I set it up last night after doing some calculating where the best mounting location would be and spending almost an hour installing a 1" x 6" board and two hooks. When I first plugged in the power cord for the inline control switch and pressed the down button, I was very happy to hear how quiet the unit runs as the screen was being lowered. My only complaint (can be easily fixed) is that the foot wide area of black edging showed when it was done lowering. I have since then pushed the stop button on the switch when I begin to see the black edge at the top. I set up my Optoma HD65 projector and my Samsung DTB-H260F HDTV converter box (it has an HDMI output) and it has a bright picture - even when I had a small table lamp on. I don't know what the previous reviewer's problem is (perhaps it is defective), but this is an outstanding screen for a beginner's home theater. It does what it's supposed to, looks good, and costs significantly less than other similar-sized screens (paid a little less than $200). Accuscreen 800007 119-Inch HDTV Electric Screens with Infrared Remote and Inline Control
This is very large item, the first one I received was damaged by UPS, apparently by the handling equipment in the distribution center. I called Amazon and they sent another one right away. The installation is easy. It is a bit difficult to find the adjustment screw for the lower limit (how far the screen extends) and how to do this in the manual was not clear, it took a couple of emails to the mfgr to clarify. They were very helpful. After using this screen for a year we are thrilled with the screen. It is supported by Logitech Harmony remotes, so we can push one button to turn on everything and lower the screen too. Pros: Really quiet motor. Very good qualityCons: The sides curve in slightly since there are no pre-tensioners
Whats really bad: USPS shipping. USPS dumped the product on the sidewalk in front of my door right on the street. They did not even bother to knock. Thanks to the packaging which saved the unit from both rain and ants.

This is a great screen. It's matte white surface should work with almost any projector. The motorized operation is quiet and smooth. I did not find the fact that the receiver box is on the cord the least bit annoying as some reviewers did. I simply hid the cord and used the RF remote (the unit comes with 2 remotes, IR and RF). However I did notice a electronic "buzzing" noise one day when I walked over by the screen. It stopped when I touched the middle "stop" key on the remote, but still you may want to make sure that you hit this button after retracting the screen. I bought this screen because of the price and good reviews. I am very pleased with my purchase. The only problem I had is with the documentation. It's pretty minimal however the company has been responsive when I had questions.
